The School District of Philadelphia ("School District" or "District") is soliciting written proposals from Program Management professionals to provide comprehensive design, management, and implementation of an Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA) Management Program within the Office of Environmental Management Services (OEMS). The primary purpose of the AHERA Program will be to meet and maintain full compliance with AHERA regulations, including but not limited, to the scheduling of 3-year inspections, 6-month periodic surveillances, and final completion and maintenance of full AHERA management plans for each occupied School District property identified in Appendix O.) The School District anticipates that the definitive Contract or Contracts with one or more successful Proposers will run from March 2022, until March 2025, with two potential 1-year renewals. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
