FEMALE DORMITORY Domestic hot water piping joints are corroded Findings: Heavy deposits of the by-products of corrosion surround domestic hot water supply pipe joints and safety relief valve piping in Mechanical Room 172, Area 7. If the corrosion continues, new leak will occur and the piping system will deteriorated at a faster rate. Depending on the severity of the corrosion, replace the mechanical joints/fittings and deteriorated pipe sections as required. Obtain minimum of 1-year part and labor warranty from the installing contractor.MALE DORMITORY Domestic hot water piping and flange joints are corroded/leaking Findings: The domestic hot water piping distribution systems are corroded and leaking at several locations inside mechanical rooms.
