The City is proposing to replace the existing City Hall's garage roll-up security gate with a new garage roll-up security gate. The work to be done consists of furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and incidentals as required by the Specifications and Contract Documents. Engineer's Estimate Base Bid: $40,000 - $50,000 All bidders shall be licensed in accordance with provisions of the Business and Professions Code and shall possess a State Contractor's license, Classes C61/D28 or A at the time of bid submittal. The successful Contractor and his subcontractors will be required to possess business licenses from the City. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. All queries related to the Project shall be submitted electronically to the City Engineer at cityengineer@lcf.ca.gov. no later than December 29, 2022. Any questions shall be directed to the Public Works Department at 818-790-8882. All work shall be completed in its entirety within ten (10) working days from the date of Notice to Proceed. Any contract entered into pursuant to this notice will incorporate the provisions of the State Labor Code. Pursuant to the provisions of the California Labor Code Section 1773.2, the minimum prevailing rate of per diem wages for each craft, classification, or type of worker needed to execute the Contract shall be those determined by the Department of Industrial Relations of the State of California The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in a bid, and to make awards in the interest of the City. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of thirty (30) days after the bid opening.
