Demolition and site work for a mixed-use development in Tracy, California. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; road / highway; for the demolition of a municipal facility; and municipal facility.

Work will prepare the site for future improvements and includes: Clearing and grubbing, SWPPP management, installation and maintenance of site BMPs, demolition and disposal of a 1,100 SF CMU structure, removal and disposal of asphalt concrete, concrete, metal materials, foam and fiberglass floats and railroad ties (Class 1), earthwork and rough grading, installation of 12" water main, service connections and backflow preventers, sewer laterals, clean outs and manholes, and other word as required. The planned timeframe for work is between February 2022 and April 2022. Contract time to be forty-five (45) calendar days. This Project requires a valid California contractor's license for the following classification(s): Class A, General Engineering Contractor's License. This Project is subject to the prevailing wage requirements, available at City Engineer's office As this project involves federal funds, Davis Bacon requirements will be enforced. Federal minimum wage rates, as predetermined by the U.S. Department of Labor, have been attached to this bid document. If there is a difference between the federal minimum wage rates predetermined by the U.S. Department of Labor and the Prevailing Wage Rates determined by the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations of the State of California for similar classifications of labor, the Contractor and his subcontractor shall pay no less than the higher wage rate.
