The USJMA is the owner of Meadow Street Sanitary Sewer Replacement Project, Stoystown, Pa. Bidders and suppliers are invited to attend. The work of the prime Contract comprises the complete construction of the Upper Stonycreek Joint Municipal Authority N. WALNUT AVENUE SANITARY SEWER REPLACEMENT PROJECT, located within Stoystown Borough, Somerset County, Pennsylvania. The Upper Stonycreek Joint Municipal Authority is the owner of the sanitary sewer system. The prime Contract will include the installation of new sanitary sewers & appurtenances to replace the existing sanitary sewers & appurtenances. 2. Work includes installation of 8" SDR35 PVC sanitary sewer lines within a portion of N. Walnut Avenue in Stoystown, PA. The sanitary sewer will connect to the existing sanitary sewer line by installation of a new manhole. A test pit is required to verify the location and elevation of the existing sanitary sewer at that location. The replacement will extend to an existing manhole to connect upstream sewage flows. Appurtenances include manholes, service laterals to the property line, and view ports at the property line. Work includes traffic control, erosion and sedimentation controls, and surface restoration. The Contractor will make permanent repairs to all sanitary and storm sewer mains and laterals damaged during construction. Existing buried utilities include: potable waterlines, storm sewers, sanitary sewers, electric, & cable TV.
