The Upper Stonycreek Joint Municipal Authority is the owner of the Clark Street and Walnut Avenue Sanitary Sewer Replacement Project. Bid Security shall be made payable to the Owner in the amount ten (10%) percent of the Bidder's maximum Bid price. Security shall be either a certified or bank cashier's check or a Bid Bond issued by a Surety licensed to conduct business in the State of the project Bidder must agree to commence work on or before the date specified in the written "Notice to Proceed" of the Owner and to fully complete the contract within NINETY DAYS (90) calendar days. Bidder must agree to pay as liquidated damages the sum of $500.00 for each consecutive calendar day beyond the 90 day substantial completion construction period as hereinafter provided for in the General Conditions, as time is of the essence Furnish and pay for Bonds covering faithful performance of the Contract and payment of all obligations arising there under. Furnish Bonds in the amount of 100% of Bid sum and in such order as the Owner may prescribe and with Surety Company acceptable to the Owner, and authorizes to do business in Pennsylvania. The Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality therein
