Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; for the construction of a pre-engineered storage facility; pre-engineered storage facility; and water / sewer project.
The Project includes the following Work: The Wright Brothers Dairy Farm Project includes the installation of two (2) roofed manure composting facilities, waste storage facility, waste transfer system, heavy use area protection, access road, underground outlet, subsurface drains, fence, roof gutters, livestock pipeline, watering facilities, silage leachate collection system, pumping plant, animal walkway, grassed waterway, stormwater facilities, and final grading and seeding. Instructions to Bidders. Bid security in the form a Certified Check or Bid Bond shall be furnished with the bid in an amount not less than 10%. Statutory Requirements. Bidders must comply with all State antibid-rigging regulations pertaining to work associated with this project, and will be required to submit an executed non-collusion affidavit with the bid. Bidders should refer to provisions of federal and state statutes, rules and regulations dealing with the prevention of environmental pollution and preservation of public natural resources that affect the project, pursuant to Act No. 247 of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, approved October 26, 1972. This Project falls under The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania enacted Act 127 of 2012, known as the Public Works Employment Verification Act ('the Act') which requires all public work contractors and subcontractors to utilize the Federal Government's E-Verify system to ensure that all employees performing work on public work projects are authorized to work in the United States. All Bidders are required to submit a Public Works Employment Verification Form as a precondition for the Contract Award. The estimated cost for this project is greater than Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($25,000) and the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act shall apply. All bids shall be irrevocable for 60 days after the bid opening date unless award is delayed by a required approval of another government agency, the sale of bonds, or the award of a grant or grants, in which case this Bid shall remain subject to acceptance for 120 days after the bid opening date as provided by the Act of November 26, 1978 (P.L. 1309, No. 317), as amended by the Act of December 12, 1994 (P.L. 1042, No. 142). All bidders are hereby notified that in regard to any contract pursuant to this advertisement, businesses will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this notice and will not be subjected to discrimination on the basis of gender, race, color, creed, sex, age, physical disability or national origin in consideration for an award. Similarly the successful bidder shall in no manner discriminate against or intimidate any employee involved in the manufacture of supplies, the performance of work, or any other activity required under the contract on account of gender, race, creed or color.
