Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Los Gatos, California. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The Work will consist of: Pavement Improvements at Vasona Lake County Park West Trail. Successful contractor shall be responsible for all necessary equipment, tools, materials, consumables which shall include, but shall not be limited to, workers' supplies or protective garments, disposable items used in furtherance of completing the Work, labor, and supplies required to perform the work as specified herein Each bid must be accompanied by cash, a certified or cashier's check, or a bond in the sum of not less than ten percent (10%) of the total aggregate of the bid price. The "payment bond for public works" must be in an amount of 100% of the Contract Sum as specified in the Notice to Bidders, and shall inure to the benefit of persons performing labor or furnishing materials in connection with the Work. This bond must be maintained in full force and effect until all Work is completed and Accepted by Owner, and until all claims for materials and labor have been paid. The "performance bond" must be in an amount of 100% of the Contract Sum as specified in the Notice to Bidders, and must be so conditioned as to ensure the faithful performance by Contractor of all Work. It shall also include the replacing, or making acceptable, of any defective materials or faulty workmanship during the Guarantee period(s).
