**As of February 17, 2022, the project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. Paulding County is seeing qualified, experienced, and licensed contractors with demonstrated experience and skill in providing/building a scale house for the Transfer Station at 75 County Services Land, Dallas, Ga. 30132. The bid shall include all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, processing, and other items necessary to complete this project in accordance with the bid information and approved plans. The scope of work for this project is to build / install a 14'x30' Scale Housel. Tasks will include site preparation, grading, excavation, crawl space footing, backfill, installation, construction of a building, complete. Each bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope plainly marked on the outside as, "Paulding County Board of Commissioners, SCALE HOUSE- Bid Number: 17003". If bid is forwarded by mail, the sealed envelope containing the Bid must be enclosed in a separate mailing envelope to the attention of the owner at the address previously given. Questions will be received by the owner's representative until close of business on January 11, 2021. Questions, comments, and responses will be tabulated and returned to bidders by January 14, 2021. All requests for plans and questions should be submitted in writing via e-mail to Paulding County Finance Department at the following e-mail address: purchase @paulding.gov. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond with good and sufficient surety or sureties approved by the owner for faithful acceptance of the contract, payable to, in favor of, and for the protection of the owner in an amount equivalent to five percent (5%) of the total amount payable by the terms of the contract or, in lieu thereof, in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or cash in equal amount. The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish performance and payment bonds with the executed Agreement meeting the requirements of the Contract Documents and executed on the forms attached to the Agreement. The terms and time for payment are set forth in the Agreement. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive formalities and technicalities, re-advertise, and/or award the contract in the best interest of the County. The awarded contractor will be required to apply and be on Paulding County Finance Department Approved Vendors List. Paulding County reserves the right to cancel the agreement with the successful submitter.
