Columbus Community Middle School Gym Dehumidification and Auditorium Supplemental Heating and Cooling. Bids will be received for a single prime contract. Work to commence upon receipt of Notice to Proceed and be substantially completed by April 20, 2022. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of 5% of the total bid submitted. This bid security shall be filed in a separate envelope from the bid and labeled as such. Bid security must be in the form of a bid bond (AIA Document A310-2010 in conjunction with AIA Document A312-2010). The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond both in an amount equal to 100% of the Contract Price and in accordance with other requirements outlined in the Bid Documents. All bids will be governed by provisions of the Iowa Code and by Board policies. This project is sales tax exempt. The owner will issue an exemption certificate for the purchase or use of building materials, supplies, and equipment that will be used in the performance of the construction contract.
