Work generally consists of regrading the existing sod football field and soccer including, but not limited to: - Grading, Excavation, Subgrade Preparation and Modified Subbase - Removal and Replacement of Storm Sewer - Hot Mix Asphalt Pavement - Pavement Removals - Temporary Traffic Control - Erosion Control Items - Installation of Goal Posts, and Long Jumps See Bid Form for exact quantities Site Directions: Approximately 700 feet Northwest of the Intersection of Colton Street and Flat Iron Drive, Columbus Junction, Iowa Bid security shall be provided in the form of a cashier's check or certified check drawn on a state chartered or federally chartered bank, or a certified share draft drawn on a state chartered or federally chartered credit union, or a bid bond of a reputable bonding company authorized to do business in the State of Iowa in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid. The bid security shall be included in a separate sealed envelope, plainly marked "bid bond". The bid security shall be forfeited as liquidated damages if the successful bidder fails proper execution of the contract documents The successful bidder must execute performance and payment bonds, each in an amount equal to one hundred (100%) percent of the contract amount to ensure a timely, efficient, and complete performance.
