Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Anchorage, Alaska. Completed plans call for the construction of a 17,295-square-foot, three-story above grade municipal facility.
The new Port of Alaska Administration Building is intended to be a three-story, 17,295 gross square foot, American Disability Act (ADA) compliant structure that supports management and administrative functions within efficient offices and open areas that project professionalism to the visiting public and staff. The ground floor is intended to provide nine (9) covered parking spaces, including one (1) ADA compliant space, configured as an open unheated garage. The second and third floors are intended to allot 5,200 net square feet to function as administrative space for the POA, 3,560 net useable space for the PMO along with 1,780 square feet of public gathering space (observation deck, some of which will be covered).
