Site work for an educational facility in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility.
The University of Winnipeg is looking for a civil contractor to supply and install approximately 614m of 50mm HDPE SDR11 conduit, approximately 55m of 75mm HDPE SDR13.5 conduit and supply and install 6 - Channell 30" W x 48"L x 36"D Tier22 vaults complete with ground rod installed. In the scope of work described below all conduits are as described above unless otherwise noted. The total route length of installation is approximately 360m consisting of a combination of directional boring and open trenching to install the conduit at a depth of 1-1.5m below grade (See City of Winnipeg Permit 1 of 2 and Construction Drawing for Details). In all locations requiring 2-50mm HDPE SDR11 conduits to be installed, one conduit must be left with a pull rope installed for future use and the other will have fibre installed as detailed on the Fibre Placement drawing. Fibre to be supplied and pulled is route length of 854m of 288 fibre plus slack loops for a total of 1,069m and 283m of 48 fibre plus slack loops for a total of 423m. Allow for 15% variance on all fibre allocations. All construction areas are to be restored to preconstruction status if on private property and to the City of Winnipeg requirements when in the public right of way.
