The County of Lycoming is seeking technical and price proposals from highly qualified engineering consulting firms to perform construction inspection services for four bridge replacement projects owned by local municipalities as part of an overall local bridge bundling approach. Please note, the County of Lycoming is not the owner of these bridges. Rather, each bridge is owned by separate municipalities who have chosen to enroll in this County sponsored program. The County supports bridge bundling as an efficient and innovative method to reduce the number of poor condition locally-owned bridges while saving time and money during project delivery. It is expected that a single professional services contract will be used to perform construction inspection of these 13 bridge replacements, All bridges are located within the geographic limits of Lycoming County, PA. Questions regarding this request for proposal shall be submitted via the "Clarifications" feature no later than Friday, January 7, 2022, 5:00 P.M. EST The Lycoming County Board of Commissioners reserve the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, or to accept any part of a proposal without accepting the whole thereof, or to accept such proposal as they deem to be in the best interest of the County. The contract, which results from the award of this RFP, shall commence upon award and shall terminate on December 31, 2023. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
