The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to solicit sealed proposals from qualified multi-disciplinary planning firms establishing a firm, fixed price contract through competitive
negotiation for professional consulting services that are needed to conduct an evaluation of the City's industrial waterfront within a highest-and-best-use framework grounded in resilience
planning. The City of Chesapeake is requesting professional environmental services on an annual basis for projects that dictate immediate response and when the consultant possesses detailed technical knowledge unavailable in-house or in response to critical time-sensitive events.
Some of the following services may require that the Consultant, Firm (Consultant and Firm are interchangeable terms herein), and Sub-contractors have a valid Virginia Class A Contractor's
license. It is anticipated that one (1) contract will be awarded under the procurement process to cover the requested services.
