This project consists of the construction of new waterline in East Douglas Road and Turnberry Road in Ft. Collins, Colorado. The construction will involve the installation of approximately 2,737 LF. of 12" PVC C900, 2,724 LF. of 16" PVC C905, 383 LF. of 3/4" Water Service, 10, 476 SY of 7.5" HMA (Grade SX)(75)(PG64-22), 10,476 SY. of 11.5" ABC (Cl. 6) and other waterline appurtenances. Work also includes removal and disposal off-site of approximately 10, 476 SY of Asphalt and other miscellaneous work. The Work will be substantially completed within 30 consecutive calendar days after the Notice to Proceed and complete and ready for final payment within 40 consecutive calendar days past substantial completion. All bid proposals must be on the form provided and must be accompanied by a certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of the East Larimer County Water District negotiable U.S. Government bonds (at par value) or a satisfactorily Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total Bid. Checks accompanying bids not accepted will be returned to the bidders. The selected Contractor will be required to furnish a 100% Contract Performance Bond and a 100% Contract Payment Bond to cover the execution of the Work which shall be in conformity with the Form of Bonds contained in the Specifications and for the Contract Amount. No bids shall be withdrawn after opening of the bids without the consent of the East Larimer County Water District, for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled time of opening bids. The East Larimer County Water District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities in bids, and to accept the bid that, in the opinion of the East Larimer County Water District, is to the best interests of the East Larimer County Water District.
