Work Consist of: Provide routine vegetation management services and emergency storm response (including providing and applying epa-approved chemical treatment) pursuant to district specifications and requirements, and as directed by the districts contract construction superintendent or the districts designated representative in rights-of-ways along and under electric distribution and transmission lines throughout public utility district no. 1 of greys harbor countys service territory. Contract term is for march 1, 2022 through February 28, 2025. This contract is for district-wide work on a continuous basis until the expiration of the term or earlier termination, or non-availability of funds. No subcontracting is allowed for this contract. Only written, sealed bids will be received and considered. All bids must be sealed and marked with the name of the project and bid opening date. This is a public works project and prevailing wage rates, and retainage, do apply. Bids will be awarded based on conformance with District specifications, as determined by this District, and the bid that best meets the needs of the District. The District will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered under this Call for Bids, minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this Call for Bids and will not be discriminated against on the basis of race, color, sex, disability, religion, or national origin in awarding the contract. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or any portion of bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding. All bids and related materials are subject to public review pursuant to the Public Records Act (RCW Chapter 42.56). Bidders claiming any exemption from public disclosure shall indemnify and hold the District harmless from any and all costs arising out of a public records request that the bidder claims contain protected documents or trade secrets.
