The City of Sedro-Woolley is soliciting bids through the small works roster process for the restoration/repairs of crushed gravel driveways, and parking areas of two city properties that experienced extensive flood damage during the Skagit River flood events of November 2021. The selected contractor shall provide labor, equipment and materials to perform the work as described below: The two properties that are affected are:
1. Riverfront Park, 1001 River Rd, Sedro-Woolley, WA
2. Sedro-Woolley Live Fire Training Site, 1950 S Third Street, Sedro-Woolley, WA It is estimated that the two properties lost a quantity of 800 tons of crushed gravel that were carried away by the flood waters. The city desires to establish a per ton price for the contractor to supply, place, level and compact the gravel, restoring the properties to their pre flood condition. Gravel shall be 5/8" clean chips. Per ton price shall include all labor, equipment, and material necessary to complete the work. Quantity of crushed gravel is an estimate. Actual amount of crushed may be more or less that the 800 tons. *Engineers estimate for this project is $50,000 to $60,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The City of Sedro-Woolley reserves the right, without any liability on our part, to accept a proposal of the bidder submitting the lowest responsible bid, to reject any or all bids, revise or cancel the work to be performed, or do the work otherwise, if the best interest of the City is served thereby.
