Renovation of an educational facility in Juneau, Alaska. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; and 11,312-square-foot educational facility.
Replace the roof on the Novatney Building at the UAS Juneau campus. The Work consists of providing all labor, equipment, and materials to remove approximately 11,312 square feet of mortar topped, loose laid, EPS roof insulation, installing approximately 9172 square feet of 10 inch thick of flat stock EPS roof insulation and approximately 2,140 square feet of tapered EPS roof insulation all covered with approximately 11,312 square feet of EPDM roofing membrane, complete with metal roof edgings, metal flashings, carpentry, painting and miscellaneous associated details. *a 28 percent minority manpower utilization goal in each of the following trades: Asbestos workers, Carpenters, Electricians, Ironworkers, Operating Engineers, Painters, Pile Drivers, Plumbers and Steam Fitters, Roofers, Sheet Metal Workers, and Teamsters.
