The City of Keizer is requesting proposals from qualified vendors with established experience in Water Meter Reading Services. The contract will be from March 1, 2022 to February 28, 2025 with an option to extend for two additional two-year terms upon mutual agreement by the parties. Notice is hereby given that the City of Keizer is requesting proposals from qualified vendors with established experience in Water Meter Reading Services. o The City of Keizer serves approximately 11,000 water customers. The customer base is divided into two bi-monthly billing cycles, with approximately one-half of the meters read one month and the other half read the next month. The customer base has been increasing at approximately one to two percent per year. o Vendor will be responsible to accurately read customer water meters and submit a report for each cycle based on the schedule in Section 1 of the Request for Proposals. The final results of the water meter readings for each cycle shall be submitted no later than 8:00 a.m. on the required due date. If the due date falls on a weekend or holiday, the final results of the water meter readings shall be submitted no later than 8:00 a.m. on the next business day. Readings will be submitted electronically in a format that is suitable to the City and compatible with Springbrook utility billing software. The City may reject any proposal not in compliance with all prescribed solicitation procedures and requirements and other applicable law and may reject any and all proposals in whole or in part when the cancellation or rejection is in the best interest of the City, and at no cost to the City.
