Remodeling of a religious / funeral development in Toronto, Ontario. Completed plans call for the remodel of a religious / funeral development.
Conversion of an existing industrial building and associated offices in order to provide a new facility for the Islamic Society of Toronto. The new renovated space includes: a prayer space, a gymnasium, multi=purpose rooms, classrooms, a library, a commercial kitchen, morgue, Islamic Society administration spaces, commercial units ready for fit-out by others, common areas, service rooms; and site work. Project also includes installation and commissioning of pre-purchased systems - including switchgear. *Construction cost is unreleased for publication; however project has been estimated at approx. 50 million. *Optional site visit was held December 21, 2022. *Project is a partnership between the Islamic Society of Toronto and Metrolinx as part of the Ontario Line Project.
