Renovation of a municipal facility in Costa Mesa, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The scope of work generally consists of demolition and remodel of the City Hall Basement storage areas for the addition of IT Offices and a City Hall Training Room. The basement remodel includes walls, partitions, mechanical HVAC, electrical, lighting, low voltage & data, fire alarm, finish paint, and flooring improvements as well as an advanced audio visual (AV) system for the classroom training room. All computer network equipment & cabling, office & classroom furniture, finishes, and fixtures & equipment shall be procured, constructed, and/or installed by the Contractor as detail in project plans, specifications, and bid documents. Each must also be qualified as required by law at the time of the bid opening Estimated Bid Value 500,000 Project Duration Within NINETY (90) WORKING DAYS from the date set in the Notice-to-Proceed or the first day of commencement of Work, whichever occurs first Liquidated Damages $1,000 per calendar day The intent of this project is to provide a new it manager's office, cubicles for three information technology staffs, and a training room which is approximately 1040 sq. ft. in area located in the southeast corner of the city hall basement
