Renovation of a municipal facility in Yuba City, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Roof and flashing replacement for Sutter County Office Buildings located at 1130 Civic Center Boulevard and 463 Second Street, Yuba City. The County of Sutter intends to award a contract which includes furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary for the replacement of the roof and all required flashing for the County Office Buildings located at 1130 Civic Center Boulevard and 463 Second Street, Yuba City. The work includes the following: Removal of existing roofing materials and flashing; Removal of asbestos laden roofing materials (at 463 Second Street); Replacement of damaged roof insulation / plywood; Installing new flashing at parapet walls, HVAC curbs, skylights, penetrations, etc.; Installing new connections to roof drains and overflow drains and scuppers; and Installing new 2-ply modified bitumen roofing system per the manufacturer's installation guidelines. Each bid must also be accompanied by security in the form of a bid bond issued by a corporate surety, a certified check, or cashier's check payable to the County of Sutter, or cash for an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the aggregate sum of the bid. The successful bidder shall be required to execute a Material and Labor Payment Bond and Performance Bond, issued by a corporate surety, in conformance with the requirements set forth in the contract documents, each for not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price Questions Due Date: Jan 5th 2022, 10:00 AM PST Estimated Construction Cost: $1,000,000.00 - $3,000,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The County Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in any bid, and to determine which bid is the lowest responsive bid of a responsible bidder. This portion of the project will be constructed with a single Prime Contractor with the designated work completed and ready for acceptance within forty (40) working days following the date of commencement of Contract Time stated in the Notice to Proceed, as identified in Section 00 52 00 Agreement. Fourteen (14) calendar days are authorized for mobilization and shall not be reduced prior to working days. This Bid Package is for the Prime Contractor. f the warranty period specified in the contract is for longer than one year a Maintenance Bond equal to 10% of the contract price is required
