Completed plans call for the addition of a warehouse / distribution facility; for the demolition of a warehouse / distribution facility; for the renovation of a warehouse / distribution facility; for site work for a warehouse / distribution facility; water / sewer project; and 6,440-square-foot warehouse / distribution facility.

This project consists of construction of an approximate 6,440 square feet Warehouse Building including associated site demolition, site development, utilities, foundations, building envelop, interior finishes, HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and power. Alternate No. 1 incorporates a pre-engineered aluminum canopy between the Warehouse and existing Maintenance Building. Refer to Drawing T1 for additional information.That the Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, and equipment and perform all Work required by the Contract Documents (as defined in the General Conditions hereto) for Wastewater Treatment Plant Warehouse Addition. Inquiries must be received by 1:00 p.m., January 19, 2022, in order to be considered. All posted addenda must be signed and accompany any bid submitted, failure to do so may subject bidder to disqualification. Bidder's Bid Bond for 5% of Base Bid Amount.A performance bond and a payment bond, in forms satisfactory to the City, from sureties authorized to do business in Virginia satisfactory to the City, in the amount of one hundred (100) percent of the Base Bid. That the Contractor shall commence Work within ten (10) days after Notice to Contractor to Proceed with the Work under Contract ("Notice to Proceed"), and shall substantially complete the Work no later than 300 consecutive days. The Owner, in protecting its best interests, reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive any defects.The Owner reserves the right to cancel the Advertisement for Bids, reject any and all bids, waive any and all informalities, and disregard all conforming, nonconforming, conditional bids or counterproposals.
