Deadline to submit questions 5/20/22 by 4:00 P.M. The City will respond to questions 5/27/22 Anticipated Award Date: October 2022 Final Completion: Not later than December 2023. The scope of work to be undertaken by the Design-Builder under the design-build contract for this Project will be identified in the RFP. This work includes, among other matters, all work required to support the design and construction of: (a) survey; (b) structure and/or bridge; (c) environmental; (d) geotechnical; (e) traffic control devices; (f) transportation management plan (including but not limited to traffic management and pedestrian detour plans); (g) utilities; (h) quality assurance and quality control; (i) signage and lighting; (j) construction engineering and inspection; and (k) overall Project management. Environmental work shall address all items necessary for the acquisition of all land use and water quality permits for the Project, as well as any erosion and sediment control plans, minor site plans, major site plans, Right-of-Way Use & Special Excavation Permits, and any other required permits, as necessary. Further, Offeror and all subcontractors must obtain City Business Licenses or Waivers thereof (from the Commissioner of Revenue) should they be awarded the contract. Utility work includes all items necessary to perform the coordination of utility relocation as needed to allow for completion of the scope of work. Construction engineering and inspection work includes all items necessary for providing quality assurance and quality control in accordance with VDOT's Minimum Requirements for Quality Assurance and Quality Control for Design-Build and Public-Private Transportation Act Projects, revised July 2018. Coordination with all third-party stakeholders is the responsibility of the Design-Builder
