Demolition and site work for a mixed-use development in Wake Forest, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the demolition of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.

The project consists of removing modular buildings located at Dubois Center Transition Program, 530 East Perry Avenue, Wake Forest, NC and the associated site restoration and utility modifications as indicated on drawings. A. Removal of existing miscellaneous structures including foundations, existing pavements, farm implements, shelters, canopies, large piles of rocks, trash piles and any debris within the work area. B. Identification of existing utilities. C. Protection of existing improvements to remain or be reinstalled. Administration of removal and/or decommission of all existing underground utilities not to be used, including, but not limited to, potable water lines, sewer lines, gas service, cable TV/communications wiring or cables, unused electrical service wiring, unused irrigation piping, abandoned storm drainage structures and piping (including old roof collection piping no longer required), unused underground storage tanks (if any are encountered), condensation piping, unused area lighting posts and fixtures, and any meters not claimed by the associated utility company. Bidding Documents include this Invitation to Bid, and the following attached forms: Form of Proposal, sample contract, Sales Tax Report, School Access Requirements, MBE forms and Board of Education Policies. The bidding documents also include the plans and specifications, and any Addenda issued prior to receipt of bids. All requirements and obligations of the Bidding Documents are hereby incorporated by reference into the Contract Documents and are binding on the Successful Bidder upon award of the contract. Each Bidder by submitting their Bid represents that they have read and understand the Bidding Documents and their Bid is made in accordance therewith; and the Bidder agrees to be bound by the terms and requirements set forth in the Bidding and Contract Documents; that they have visited the site, have familiarized themselves with the local conditions under which the Work is to be performed herein, and has correlated their observations with the requirements of the proposed Contract Documents.
