Major renovation projects of the Metrobus Center. The Metrobus Center is located at 7555, rue Armand-Viau Nord, in the Rivieres borough, in the Armand-Viau industrial park in the Duberger -- Les Saules district. The Newton Center is located at 700 avenue Newton - 1515 avenue Galilee, in the district of Rivieres, in the Frontenac industrial park in the Duberger -- Les Saules district. In 2021, the RTC acquired the existing building (formerly the La Maison Simons inc. Distribution center) and plans to transform it into an operating center for electric buses. Its strategic location will allow the RTC to serve the agglomeration of Quebec from several sectors, which will allow it to be more flexible and resilient (see the document "Statement of requirements - Newton Center project" for more details).
