Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a transportation facility in Quebec, Quebec. Conceptual plans call for the addition of a transportation facility; for the demolition of a transportation facility; for the renovation of a transportation facility; and for site work for a transportation facility.

Major renovation projects of the Metrobus Center. The Metrobus Center is located at 7555, rue Armand-Viau Nord, in the Rivieres borough, in the Armand-Viau industrial park in the Duberger -- Les Saules district. The Metrobus Center will be renovated and expanded in order to accommodate electric buses, increase its capacity and improve certain functional and technical aspects (see the document "Statement of Requirements - Metrobus Center Project" for more details). TIMELINE: Contract for consulting services to complete a functional and technical programming and pre-conception study has been awarded to Régis Côté et Associés, Architectes following request for proposals # P-21-300-47. Reference Number: 1555635. Contract for consulting services to complete an opportunity file and a business plan has been awarded to Brodeur Frenette following request for proposals # P-22-310-09. Reference Number: 1567445. Note: Requests for proposals for construction management and architectural services are underway and can be followed in the report under ID names: Construction Manager - Centre d'Exploitation de Transport en Commun - Newton Center Development and Electrification Project, and Centre d'Exploitation de Transport en Commun - Newton Center Development and Electrification Project. The Newton Center is located at 700 avenue Newton - 1515 avenue Galilee, in the district of Rivieres, in the Frontenac industrial park in the Duberger -- Les Saules district. In 2021, the RTC acquired the existing building (formerly the La Maison Simons inc. Distribution center) and plans to transform it into an operating center for electric buses. Its strategic location will allow the RTC to serve the agglomeration of Quebec from several sectors, which will allow it to be more flexible and resilient (see the document "Statement of requirements - Newton Center project" for more details). Further update in spring, 2024.
