Project Locations: a. Forest View Educational Center, 2121 S. Goebbert Road, Arlington Heights, Illinois 60005 b. Rolling Meadows High School, 2901 Central Road, Rolling Meadows, Illinois 60008 Project consists of removal of existing polyurethane foam roofing and coal tar roofing; new EPDM roofing; recover at existing EPDM roofing; rough carpentry; sheet metal flashing and trim including composite metal panel fascia; polycarbonate dome skylights; removal and reinstallation of MEP roof elements to accommodate roofing; and replacement of mechanical equipment. Any bid submitted unsealed, or unsigned, without bid bond or received subsequent to the aforementioned date and hour will be disqualified and returned to the bidder. Bid Security is required in the form of a Bid Bond, AIA Document A310 in an amount equal to not less than ten percent (10%) of the Base Bid and all Additive Alternates. It is the Owner's intent to issue a Notice of Award to the successful Bidder within thirty (30) calendar days of the Bid Date. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) calendar days after the opening of bids. Architect will provide responses to bidder's questions no later than 4 days prior to bid opening. Bidding questions shall be submitted to Architect's Representative via email. Any questions received later than 4 days prior to bid opening shall not be answered Successful bidder shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice of Award and shall complete the Work within the Contract Time. Work is subject to liquidated damages. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract sum, on AIA Document A312, as issued by the American Institute of Architects. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities.
