Site work and paving for a civil project in Arlington Heights, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and bridge / tunnel.

The above designated work and improvements referred to as Evergreen-Maude Storm Sewer Improvements shall include the installation of new public storm sewers and appurtenances at various locations within the Village of Arlington Heights. This work will include, but is not limited to, pavement removal; grading and shaping ditches; storm sewer installation of sizes between 8" and 18" of either PVC or RCP pipe; precast concrete box culvert installation; concrete sewer structure installation; bituminous pavement patching; driveway repair; milling and resurfacing of the streets. The locations for this work are shown in the Contract Documents. This work shall be to the requirements as indicated in the Contract Specifications. Bidders shall comply with the Grant requirements of the Illinois Department of Commerce & Economic Opportunity (DCEO) which has specific requirements toward Business Enterprise Program (BEP) Goals as enumerated in section 10 of the Special Conditions. Bidders shall comply with the Prevailing Wage Rate Act (820 ILCS 130/), the IDOT Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, adopted April 1, 2016, and the IDOT Supplemental Specifications and Recurring Special Provisions, adopted January 1, 2023. Bidders will also be required to comply with the applicable equal employment opportunity provisions. Bid bond, cashiers check, certified check drawn on a solvent bank in the State of Illinois, payable without condition to the Village of Arlington Heights in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the bid, shall be submitted with each Proposal.
