The City of Yuba City (City) is requesting proposals from licensed professional engineering firms to provide construction management and inspection services associated with construction of the Bridge Street Widening Project (Project). The Project will replace Bridge Street in Yuba City from Gray Avenue to Cooper Avenue. The Project also includes significant roadway approach work in both Yuba City and Marysville. The Project is funded through a combination of State Local Partnership Program (LPP) funds and Local funds. The LPP program is administered through Caltrans and the California Transportation Commission (CTC). There is no federal funding associated with the Project. The Project must follow the provisions of the Caltrans Local Assistance Procedures Manual (LAPM), including Chapter 10 Consultant Selection. Proposers are advised that consultant contracts in excess of $150,000 are subject to an Indirect Cost Rate financial review by the Caltrans Independent Office of Audits and Investigations. Caltrans audit and review procedures described in Chapter 10 of the LAPM will be required. The proposals submitted in response to this Request for Proposals (RFP) will be used as a basis for selecting the Consultant for this project. The Consultant's proposal will be evaluated and ranked according to the criteria provided in the Evaluation of Proposals section of this RFP. A pre-proposal meeting will not be held.
