A $300.00 Electronic Platform Fee will be payable upon award by the awarded vendor whether having submitted a bid by sealed envelope or electronically. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount equal to 5% of the bid, made payable to the City of Opelousas, Louisiana, as a guarantee that the bidder will furnish all necessary bonds and enter into a contract if his bid is accepted. Sureties used for obtaining bonds must appear as acceptable on the U.S. Department of Treasury Circular 570. In particular, bidders should note the required attachments and certifications to be executed and submitted with the bid proposal. The Contractor shall obtain, maintain during the life of the project and provide to the Owner copies of the following bonds and policies which shall be obtained from surety companies which appear on the U.S. Treasury Circular 570, licensed to do business in the State of Louisiana, in the amounts and for the purpose stated and subject to the Owner's approval: The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause; such actions will be in accordance with Title 38 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, services and incidentals to complete all work required by these Specifications and as shown on the Drawings, all as prepared by Morgan Goudeau and Associates, Inc. B. The Contractor shall perform the work complete, in place, and ready for continuous service, and shall include repairs, testing, permits, cleanup,replacements and restoration, including restoration of vegetative cover required as a result of damages caused during this construction. C. All materials, equipment, skills, tools and labor which are reasonably and properly inferable and necessary for the proper completion of the work in a substantial manner and in compliance with the requirements stated or implied by these Specifications or Drawings shall be furnished and installed by the Contractor without additional compensation, whether specifically indicated in the Contract Documents or not. D. The Contractor shall comply with all Federal, State, and local codes which are applicable to the proposed construction work
