Contractor shall provide all labor, tools, materials, equipment, traffic control, and incidentals necessary to test, remove, repair, or replace, re-install and re-test storm drain water pumps and related components. The bidder or Subcontractor must have, at time of bid submittal and for the duration of this Agreement, a valid, current Class A General Engineering Contractor, or C-10 Electrical Contractor license and C-31 Construction Zone Traffic Control Contractor license, or C-61 with D-21 Machinery and Pumps Contractor license and C-31 Construction Zone Traffic Control Contractor license issued by the California Contractor's State License Board (CSLB) for the type of work to be performed. Questions regarding this IFB must be submitted in writing by February 14, 2022. Bidders are encouraged to submit their written questions via e-mail to Katie.Raderchak@dot.ca.gov. Written questions must include: the individual's name, firm name, complete address and must reference IFB No. 07A5318. Written responses to all questions will be collectively compiled and posted, as an Addendum, to the Cal eProcure website (https://caleprocure.com/pages/index.aspx). It is the responsibility of the Bidder to access the website for any changes or addenda that may be posted. Refer to this IFB, Section C1, Time Schedule, for the schedule of events and dates/times. It is the responsibility of the bidder to check Cal eProcure for all addenda. Bidder can contact the Contract Analyst named above. This Agreement will commence on April 1, 2022 (estimate) or upon approval by Caltrans, whichever is later, and no work shall begin before that time. This Agreement is of no effect unless approved by Caltrans. Contractor shall not receive payment for work performed prior to approval of the Agreement and before receipt of notice to proceed by Caltrans Contract Manager. This Agreement shall expire on March 31, 2024 (estimate). The services shall be provided during normal work hours, 7:00 a.m. through 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, except State holidays. On occasion, Contractor may also be needed outside of normal working hours, 3:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., Monday through Friday, and on weekends and holidays. The parties may amend this Agreement as permitted by law.
