Consigli Construction is seeking Expression of Interest(EOI) from subcontractors for the Awosting Rehabilitation and Upper Floor Addition project located on the SUNY New Paltz Campus in New Paltz, NY. The scope of the project is to renovate an existing 49,400 square foot dormitory with a concrete structural system, brick veneer exterior, and copper mansard and membrane roofing system. This project includes the renovation of the existing 3 story Residence Hall, the addition of a 4th floor, and a new steel framed attic with sloped metal roof. Entrance Vestibule and bicycle canopy additions will also be constructed. The interior renovations will include the reconfiguration of spaces and installation of floor, wall and ceiling finishes throughout. New mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems will also be provided. Work includes but is not limited to the following bid packages: Bid Package 07.3 - Acrylic Walls and Ceilings Bid Package 07.4 - Insulation Package Bid Package 07.5 - Acoustic / Metal Linear Ceilings Bid Package 11 - Wall Panels Bid Package 12 - Intumescent Fire Resistant Coating Bid Package 19 - Painting Bid Package 28 - Fire Protection Bid Package 34 - General Contracting and Accessories Construction is scheduled to start in May 2022 with substantial completion in July of 2022. The total square footage of the completed building including the new floor and attic space will be 63,000 square feet. This project will be tax exempt and will require the use of prevailing wage labor. This project will be LEED v4 Certified. M/WBE and SDVOB contractors are encouraged to propose on this project as projectspecific requirements have been identified.
