As of May 19, 2022, a contractor has been awarded this project. *The previous solicitation is listed below for reference TO BE Published two times in the Waxahachie Daily Light on Wednesday, December 22nd, 29th, 2021: ADVERTISEMENTS / NOTICES ITALY INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE SEALED PROPOSALS Pursuant to Texas Government Code Chapter 2269, Subchapter D, it is the intention of the Italy Independent School District (the District) to select via the Competitive Sealed Proposals process a contractor for the District's Fieldhouse Insulation Project and a contractor for the District's Fieldhouse HVAC Project. The District will be receiving proposals from firms interested in serving as a contractor for the Insulation Project and/or the HVAC Project and will award based upon the contractor providing the best value for the District and the weighted criteria in the Competitive Sealed Proposals Package. The Project information is contained within the Package available by request to Rachel Kistner, Superintendent, at the District's Administration Building, located at 300 College Street, Italy, Texas 76651, and by phone at 972-483- 1815. The Package includes: the scope of work, selection criteria and weighted value for each criterion, estimated budget, estimated completion date, the process to submit a proposal, and other important information. All interested parties are encouraged to schedule a tour of the fieldhouse by cont a c ting M r. M i cha e l Chambers, Director of Operations, at 972-483- 1815. Proposals must be addressed to the Superintendent and be submitted no later than January 14, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. (CST). Following the deadline for receipt, the District will receive and publicly open all proposals. Within forty-five (45) days after the opening, the District shall evaluate and rank each Proposal submitted in relation to the selected criteria set forth in the Package. The District shall select a contractor from the respondents or reject all proposals. The District reserves the right to reject all proposals and to waive any formalities.
