Sealed tenders to be submitted for the Implementation of the following tree planting contracts within the Thompson Rivers Forest District, Kamloops TSA: PL23DTR001 FFT funded contact for approximately 198,380 seedlings on146.6 hectares, and FCI funded approximately 922,530 seedlings on 494.5 hectares. Majority of the planting units are within the Elephant Hill wildfire of 2017, and Tunkwa Lake planting unit is a wildfire burned in 2018 and again in 2021. The Community Lake planting unit is a MBP damaged stand that was site prepped in 2021. Location of PL23DTR001 is Lower Hat Creek (41.0 ha's), Scottie Creek (415.7 ha's), Veasy Plateau (119.6 ha's), Back Valley Road (17.9 ha's), Tunkwa Lake (27.0 ha's) and Community Lake (19.9 ha's) with a total of approximately 1,120,910 seedlings to be planted. PL23DTR002 FCI funded contract for approximately 118,074 seedlings / 65.3 hectares on approximately 52.1 kms of rehabilitated road and road right-of-way / fireguard sections. Location of PL23DTR002 is Scottie Creek & Upper Cache Creek (Elephant Hill fire), Logan Lake Community Forest, Berry Creek and Upper Adams. The objective of this contract is to implement the District's 2022 FFT and FCI reforestation and road rehabilitation tree planting programs by conducting quality assurance assessments, payment certificates, reporting into RESULTS and monitoring of stock allocation, tree handling, delivery, and storage. There will not be a pre-bid field review or information meeting for this implementation contract IM23DTR001. This is a one-year term contract.
