Renovation of a transportation facility in Fort St. John, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.
Supply and Install of a boiler system in the terminal and forced air heating system in the airport maintenance building of the North Peace Regional Airport. The existing Terminal heating system at North Peace Regional Airport consists of two boilers, 4 pumps and multiple valves. The system is controlled by a software system which permits the balancing of heat throughout the building. All these systems should be replaced. The Maintenance building currently uses an old boiler system to heat the office areas. For this area the boilers are to be removed. Valves, pumps, piping would be capped, and a forced air system installed including furnace, controller, and all ducting. Ducting would be suspended from existing ceiling. The following scope items shall be included in the work: .1 Removal or decommissioning of old system as indicated above .2 Replace systems with new system capable of comfortably heating building area as indicated in Note 2. .3 In the terminal the existing distribution system will be used. In the maintenance building office area ducting to be installed. .4 Commissioning of both systems. .5 Provide training of personnel in the operation of the systems. Note 1: The Boilers and Furnace must be ENERGY STAR(R) or AHRI certified. Note 2: Terminal area is 2500 square metres. Maintenance Office area is 288 square metres.
