Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Fort St. John, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
This is the first phase (Phase One) of a two-phase competition. The first phase will evaluate the qualifications of all bidders. The second phase, (Phase Two), will invite the qualified bidders to provide a financial bid on the project based on the specifications and drawings. Upon award of a contract in Phase Two, the pre-qualification list resulting from the first phase will expire and will not be used in any other solicitation. Following Phase Two solicitation closing, bid results will be recorded and may be obtained by e-mailing a request to the address indicated in the Invitation to Tender. The project includes rehabilitation of bridge deck and other miscellaneous bridge repairs on three different bridge structures along the Alaska Highway: Bougie Creek Bridge, Lower Liard Bridge, and Hyland River Bridge, located at Km 357.4, Km 763.3, and Km 937.3 of the Alaska Highway, respectively. All bridges are located between Fort St. John, BC and Watson Lake, YT. For reference, Dawson Creek is at Km 0, Fort St. John is at approximately Km 75, Fort Nelson is at approximately Km 455, and Watson Lake is at approximately Km 986 on the Alaska Highway. Documents can be obtained from http://discovery.ariba.com/rfx/16611050 To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated to cost approximately between $1,000,001 and $5,000,000 (GST included).
