Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Mokena, Illinois. Completed plans call for the construction of a fire / police facility.
The first floor footprint area of the proposed new Police Station building is approximately 18,243 square feet and the basement footprint area is approximately 11,945 square feet and alternate shell area of approximately 4,321 square feet with a total building floor area of approximately 34,509 square feet. The sally port and garage will be located on the northeast corner of the proposed building and will consist of slab on grade floor slab with a Drive Thru lane. New bituminous concrete and Portland Cement Concrete parking lots pavement and driveways are proposed to be constructed around the proposed police station building at this project site. Approximately 8,773 square feet of parking lot located north of the proposed building is proposed to be a covered parking lot with 20 car parking stalls including 3 handicapped parking stalls.
