The Ketchikan Gateway Borough is soliciting bids for the collection of sludge from enrolled onsite wastewater treatment systems (OWTS) throughout the non-areawide portions of the Borough identified in Title 13 of the Ketchikan Gateway Borough code under the provisions of the Borough sludge pumping program. Bidders are to be aware that the terms of this project are for three (3) years, with an option for extending the contract for two (2) additional one-year periods. Sludge disposal shall be at the Ward Cove Sludge Processing Facility located at Ward Cove, and shall be processed under a separate contract with the Borough.
