This bid is to purchase two live fire training modules. The specifications are based on the Draeger Swede Survival System Phase 1 Flashover Fire Training Module and Draeger Swede Phase 2 Interior Attack Module or equivalent. Each will be listed in a separate section and may be awarded separately or together. Enclosed is a packet for Bid 630 Oxnard College Fire Technology Live Fire Training Modules. This bid packet includes the General Instructions to Bidders, Specifications, Pricing Form. Bid Form with Schedule of Values, Drug-Free Workplace Certification, Non-Collusion Affidavit, Affirmative Action, Performance Bond and Insurance requirements. . Should you have problems downloading this bid packet, you may contact the Purchasing Specialist for instructions. Questions about this bid must be submitted no later than 12:00 p.m., January 6, 2021 by e-mail to IsorensenAvcccd.edu and will be answered via addendum posted to our website. Any bidder submitting an alternate to what is specified must include all relevant materials so we may determine if product is equivalent. A site visit to a Southern California site may be requested to view the alternate specified product. This bid may be awarded Section 1 and Section 2 together or separately. Lead times will be a factor in determining award or no award. The funding source for both the sections 1 and 2 will expire on June 30, 2022, which requires the Fire Training Modules to be delivered and installed prior to this date. It is the responsibility of the Bidder to verify that their Bid has been received by the VCCCD Purchasing Department prior to the opening date.
