Need Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) Environmental Services requires the removal and disposal of hazardous waste from buildings owned or operated by various federal departments, agencies and Crown corporations located in the Capital Region. national (RCN). All work required under this Standing Offer must be performed in accordance with all relevant environmental and occupational health and safety laws and regulations. Throughout the performance of the required services, the contractor must apply the highest level of safety to protect human health, the environment and government property. If possible, the best available technologies should be used and government greening policies and guidelines should be followed in attempting to recycle hazardous waste. Ultimately, this recycling must attempt to remove contaminants that end up in the environment. The Offeror proposes to provide hazardous waste removal and disposal services, which includes all labor, materials, equipment, tools and labor. supervision necessary to identify, label, package, prepare profile documentation sheets, and load, transport and dispose / destroy hazardous waste picked up at designated collection points, as defined in section 8 of the Statement of Work. Pick-up points include research laboratories, test facilities, central heating plants, office buildings, or other facilities managed or owned by the federal government. The removal of hazardous waste must be carried out primarily at collection points in the RCN. Period This RFSO will lead to the establishment of Individual and Regional Standing Offers (RISOs) valid for a period of five (5) years.
