*As of February 2023, a construction manager has been awarded. Since the operation of the proposed raw water pump station and pipeline is critical to the Citys capability to provide timely water services to existing customers, the construction must be substantially complete (in service and capable of pumping its intended capacity of raw water from Lake Texoma into the adjacent Randell Lake) by November 15, 2023, including a 30-day operational demonstration. Provisions for liquidated damages will be included in the contract. In addition, all remaining contract work, including final punch list items, must be complete within 60 days after substantial completion of the Project. Also, in addition to substantial and final completion, liquidated damages may apply to certain project milestones identified in the contract. The project is comprised of a new intake raw water pump station (vertical turbine pumps) and associated components with 30 MGD initial capacity and ability to expand in the future to 50 MGD. The project will also include construction of approximately 6,750 Linear feet of 42- inch raw water pipeline and an access road, lake intake channel, outfall structure, site development, environmental mitigation, site security, and installation of SCADA improvements for the pump station.
