Plano Independent School District is seeking proposals to establish a competitive contract to furnish heating and air conditioning (HVAC) filters. Plano ISD has taken a proactive approach to Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) issues. Filters will be ordered, on an as-needed basis, to stock the Plano ISD Facilities Warehouse. Deliveries will be to the Facility Services warehouse, 6600 Alma Dr., Plano, TX 75023. This specification is to establish a minimum criteria to insure proper filter performance to help maintain the District's Indoor Air Quality. ESTIMATED ANNUAL EXPENDITURE: The estimated annual expenditure for this contract is approximately $320,000 per year. This estimate may be exceeded by 25% annually. However, this estimate should not be construed to be a guarantee of either minimum or maximum since usage is dependent upon actual needs and available funding. Therefore, not all items in this bid may be ordered. TERM: The term of the contract will be one year from date of Board approval with the option to extend for four (4) additional one-year terms, provided all key parties agree. At that time, if there are industry-wide increases or circumstances beyond your control that can be documented, we will consider price increases for the line items involved. This decision will be made by Plano ISD in its best interests at that time.
