The project includes, but is not limited to, the removal of vegetation and other debris collected within the two drainage canals as a result of Hurricane Zeta. Bids received after the specified time will be returned unopened. Bids submitted by sealed envelope must be labeled for: DEBRIS REMOVAL - CANALS 1 & 2/3 All questions regarding this Advertisement for Bids must be submitted in writing to Tabor Kraft via email at tabor@ccellc.us or by mail to 2510 14th St, Suite 1010, Gulfport, MS 39501 and must be received by the end of business 5:00 p.m. CST, January 18, 2022. Questions submitted after this date will not be considered. Bidders shall provide an email address or fax number to direct the consolidated "question and answer" document. Answers will be provided in writing and transmitted via email or fax to all prospective bidders who are known to have requested and received a copy of the bid package. Only answers transmitted in this manner will be considered official and valid. No negotiations, decisions, or actions shall be initiated by any bidder as a result of any verbal discussion. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids. The award is based on the lowest and best bid submitted. Each bidder must deposit his bid security in the amount, form, and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. For bids exceeding $50,000.00, Bidder must indicate his Certificate of Responsibility Number on the outside of sealed proposal as required by Mississippi Law.
