The contract provides for the removal and replacement of certain improvements along Chambers Avenue together with new road improvements for Belford Avenue and supporting site, utility, traffic and landscape improvements. Work will be awarded by discipline in complete schedules and may be awarded to one or multiple Contractors. Beginning, December 20, 2021 copies of the Bidding Documents. Addenda will be notified to registered plan holders. Acknowledgment of all addenda is required to submit a responsive bid. No Bidder shall submit more than one (1) bid. Bidders must be licensed contractors in the State of Colorado. Bids will be
received on a unit price basis as described in the Bidding Documents. The cutoff time for questions regarding the bid packet is 5:00 p.m. on January 19, 2022. All questions shall be submitted and responded to in writing. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and a labor and material payment bond guaranteeing faithful performance and the payment of all bills and obligations arising from the performance of the Contract, and insurance as described in the Bid Documents. No Bid may be withdrawn within a period of forty-five (45) days after the date fixed for opening The District reserves the right to award the contract by sections, to reject any or all Bids, and to waive any informalities and irregularities therein, and all Bidders shall agree that damage or claim shall not be brought by any bidder because of rejections, nor shall the Bidders seek any recourse of any kind against the DISTRICT because of such rejections, and the filing of any bid in response to this invitation shall constitute an agreement of the Bidder to these conditions.
