Renovation of an educational facility in Portland, Oregon. Completed plans call for the renovation of a two-story above grade educational facility.

As of February 9 the project was awarded to ASA Construction LLC, no award amount available. The Beaverton School District will receive Bids for ITB 21-0014 for the provision of a General Contractor (GC) for Westview High School Fire Door Replacement. Prospective Bidders are requested to register with Oregon Buys as an "interested Supplier" for this solicitation. This project will take place in the front of the main office and counseling office at Westview High School, 4200 NW 185th Avenue, Portland, OR 97229. a. Work will include supplying, storing, and handling of all required materials. b. Work includes protection of neighboring finishes and replacement/repair of any damaged surfaces including but not limited to ceiling tiles, wall board, paint, insulation, concrete block, etc. c. The General Contractor (GC) shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and other facilities and services as necessary and/or required to execute all of the Work. d. All work areas shall be cleaned of any construction debris on a daily basis. The General Contractor (GC) is responsible for material removal and off-site disposal. Upon completion of the project, the General Contractor (GC) is to provide final cleaning of all work areas in which materials were stored, installed, replaced or repaired including jobsite office. e. Dust/Debris prevention methods need to be in place prior to any work starting. Work schedule must be coordinated with BSD Project Coordinator. f. Doors to be operated by a Cornell M100 FIREGARD closing system or equivalent equipment. Alternate equipment must be approved by the Beaverton School District (BSD) Project Coordinator. g. Replacement doors are to meet all Fire codes (NFPA 80) h. The General Contractor (GC) must have completed background checks for all employees that will be working onsite for this project. Provide a list of employees that have passed the background check to the Project Coordinator prior to starting work. All employees who will be onsite during this project must wear a "BSD Contractor" badge. A badge template is available from the Project Coordinator.
