MTA Construction & Development is seeking to retain the services of an experienced general engineering consultant to provide design, engineering, procurement support and program administration services, to assist the MTA in implementing the next phase of its Communications Based Train Control Program for New York City Transit subway service. The CBTC Program will address all phases of work from development of deployment and implementation strategies through the completion of wayside construction, and safety certification. Program work will encompass many disciplines, including but not limited to, utilities, civil, architecture, structures, mechanical, electrical, communications, instrumentation and controls, track, traction power, signals, CBTC, information technology, environmental, systems engineering, commissioning and safety certification. The services of the Consultant shall be performed under the general direction of the MTA Project Manager.
