Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Brant, Ontario. Completed plans call for the construction of a 9,920-square-foot, one-story above grade fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.
The County of Brant (County) is seeking to prequalify General Contractors to construct a new Fire Station No.09 on a vacant parcel of land on the north side of Scott Avenue in Paris, to serve the growing northern area of the community. The proposed fire station is a single-storey building with a mezzanine, totaling approximately 918.7 sq.m. of gross floor area. The estimated construction budget is $6M million. The tender for construction is expected to be issued in March 2025, with work commencing in May 2025. Substantial Performance is anticipated by Q4 2025 or Q1 2026. The project will be delivered under a CCDC 2 - 2008 Stipulated Price Contract.
