Cullman County Board of Education Bid #04-22 for the locally funded project - Good Hope Middle School HVAC Upgrade and Renovations, located at 216 Good Hope School Road, Cullman, Alabama, 35057, and scope of the work includes replacement of all 10 window units with new Bard HVAC systems. The Owner has elected to have General Contractors pre-qualified for bidding on this Project. Only general contractors, that have installed two (2) projects of similar scope and magnitude that have been in service for minimum of 2 years with satisfactory performance of the entire system, and who have been approved to bid pursuant to prequalification procedures and criteria established by the Owner will be eligible to bid for the Project. Accompanying the general contractor's submittal containing the above information will be the AIA Form # A305 - Contractor Qualifications questionnaire and attachments. Written prequalification procedures and criteria are available for review at the office of Leonard Design P.C. 115 Second Avenue N. E., Cullman, Alabama. Pre-Qualifications statements /documents are due to the offices of the Architect, LeonardDesign P.C. by January 20, 2022. Bids must be submitted on proposal forms furnished by the Architect (Engineer) or copies thereof. All bidders bidding in amounts exceeding that established by the State Licensing Board for General Contractors must be licensed under the provisions of Title 34, Chapter 8, Code of Alabama, 1975, and must show evidence of license before bidding or bid will not be received or considered by the Architect (Engineer); the bidder shall show such evidence by clearly displaying his or her current license number on the outside of the sealed envelope in which the proposal is delivered. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technical errors if, in the Owner's judgement, the best interests of the Owner will thereby be promoted.
