The Town of Hollywood, SC seeks proposals to supply and connect a generator for the 2019 constructed Town Hall. Site visits may be made for the exterior any time during normal business hours. Bidders may propose propane or diesel fuel. the Town Council reserves the right cancel any bid it does not find satisfactory or not in compliance with the new SC Procurement laws and regulations. Project Location: 5150 Highway 165 Hollywood, SC 29449 Construction Cost Range: $11,000-$220,999 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Scope of Work Project Overview It is the intent of the Town of Hollywood, SC to obtain services for procurement of a legally required Standby System (Generator) for its 2019 Town Hall at 5150 Highway 165, Hollywood, SC 29449, as specified in this document. Each sub-section shall be given a separate cost, as indicated in the pricing sheet in Appendix B. This will allow the Town the leeway to add or subtract from the quote as needed. Bidders shall quote the job as if all tasks are to be completed. The Town is aware that any items subtracted from the original quote will need to be requoted in the future. SCOPE OF WORK - GENERAL: The scope of work (SOW) entails a manufacturer engineered and designed diesel generator and ancillary equipment for the Town Hall, which was built in 2019 at 5150 Highway 165, Hollywood, SC 29449. The electrical power supplier is Dominion Energy. Diesel generator, fuel tank, pad specifications, automatic transfer switch (ATS), manual transfer switch (MTS), surge protection devices (SPDs), controls, annunciator panels, overcurrent protection devices (OCPD), transporting, and off-loading (setting in place), as well as initial start-up and testing shall be bid for installation at the site. Contractor shall assume responsibility for all installation, inspections, underground cable and pipe locating, and proper waste disposal per local, state, and federal regulations. Town Hall staffshall coordinate initial start-up and vendorspecific testing with the successful Bidder. The generator and ancillary equipment submittals shall be completed and submitted by June 29, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. (local time). Bids will be publicly opened at 3:00 p.m. (local time), April 6 th, 2022, via a zoom call. Pricing shall be good for 120 days. Following award, the successful Bidder will be given a general timeframe.
